I always have a few rolls in my shop, one in my truck, and I light-heartedly threaten just about every child I know with duct tape if they don’t behave. The stuff is simply a gotta-have item.
Well, in business, marketing is often viewed as that one thing you have to have if you are going to succeed. I would expand that definition, of course, to include sales because at the end of the day, that’s why you market.
John Jantsch found the holy grail in the business world when he invented a marketing system he calls Duct Tape Marketing. He’s written a book of the same title. His site and blog are filled with tons of stellar tips you can put to work immediately.
John has put together the equivalent of duct tape for the business world by creating a system, an approach, to marketing to make it easy and do-able for the busy exec and business owner.
Just a few highlights or places to go on his site. I’ll share more thoughts from John in the coming year. Across the top nav area: Articles and Blog.
In the articles section, I’d recommend heading for the web marketing link.
On the blog page, just head to the Small Business Marketing Blog link right at the top. He has a terrific series right now called Snackfest 2009.
Great resources, great site. Loaded with ideas you can use today.
