SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 28, 1999--

-- Computer-Cloning Company To Launch Its Most Aggressive

Marketing Campaign To Date In The United States --

Following a competitive review, Vega Technologies recently selected Publicis Dialog, San Francisco, as its first

national agency of record.

Publicis Dialog will create an integrated marketing campaign to promote Vega's new Ultra Thin Client technology for adding PCs to a small or home office. The national campaign will include print advertising, online promotion and direct marketing, and has an estimated budget between $1 and $3 million.

"Vega Technologies software is the first-of-its-kind solution for people who need multiple computers in their homes or offices. We plan to aggressively promote the new technology within the United States to capture this growing market," said Bill Berdux, vice president of sales and marketing for Vega Technologies. "We chose to partner with Publicis Dialog because we needed a creative agency that specializes in the kind of integrated marketing -- including online marketing -- that is pivotal to our continued success."

Designed for small businesses and home offices, Vega Technologies' new hardware and software solution enables a computer user to create a virtual computer network using only one PC. Using a VGA card, a user can run a cable from the primary computer to a junction box, which can support additional monitors, keyboards and mice. From separate terminals, multiple users up to 50 feet away can simultaneously access programs and files on the host PC, as well as make online connections through its modem.

"Our agency has been very successful in marketing new technology products, because we passionately focus on the target customer's needs before we let loose our creative skills," said Stacey Paynter, president of Publicis Dialog, San Francisco. "This process ensures that our creative work not only stands out, but also hits home with the right messages."

Publicis Dialog will begin working on the Vega campaign immediately. The account team will include Tom Kavanaugh, executive creative director; Brenda Goodman, associate media director; and Laurie Wolf, account supervisor.

Founded in 1998, Vega Technologies is a privately held California corporation that specializes in concurrency and home networking applications.
