Jun. 11--GULFPORT, Miss.--The first national television ads for the Coast, aimed at attracting winter tourists, will start airing on 18 cable channels in August.
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention & Visitors Bureau has budgeted about $167,000 for the nearly two-month campaign, which will feature spots on Fox News, the History Channel and the Food Network.
