I'm so happy that my professional organizer has started blogging.  I'm learning so much new stuff from John that applies not only to organizing your space, but can also be applied to your business.  One of John's first posts was about a software program to help you calculate your tax deductions for charitable giving

As a solo professional or small business owner, you know that every tax deduction is important.  I almost fainted when I had to pay my taxes in April -- the amount of self-employment tax was so high.  If I had had this program, ItsDeductible, I could have probably saved myself a few dollars.  I give lots of used clothing, books, etc. away to the Goodwill or other types of organizations and never take any tax credit because I have, until now, had no idea how to calculate the amount. The program is only $19.95 and will probably pay for itself quickly.
