There is no better known figure in the search marketing industry than Dany Sullivan. Today there was some pretty amazing news that surprised just about everyone. Danny is leaving Search Engine Watch and the Search Engine Strategies Conferences. With an announcement this morning on his personal blog and at Search Engine Watch, Danny Sullivan explained that due to differences with Incisive Media, he will no longer be involved (for the most part) with SES or SEW. It appears Danny may be expanding his own consulting services and/or writing a book. My guess is that he would move to something where he is in control, so maybe another conference?
