PrintA buddy of mine, Jim Gray, is one of the founders of a small, but rapidly growing creative agency in my part of the world - Creative Fuel Studios. He is one of those people with the rare mix of dry humor, a big heart, and entrepreneurial zest. I have never seen him without a hat, either.
This post is about Jim's goofy, but fun site Three-Thirty Pee-Em. He started the site for other biz owners and busy execs who just need that little push, that second wind, at about the same time he felt he needed it - 3:30pm. In his own words, "The basic idea was that 3:30 p.m. was the time of day when me and everyone else needs a second wind to make it through the workday. So I started Three Thirty PM."
On this site, Jim simply links to cartoons or funny images that he finds throughout his web travels. They are often good for a laugh. Why is this useful for a biz owner? You sometimes just need a break and Jim provides it.
Now, let's get to the why this is important for a biz owner. In order to be productive, you need to be energized. In order to be energized, you need to be either creative, or get your creative juices flowing. At the very least, you need to laugh. Business is just too stressful!
