We take exception to your recent report suggesting Mike Ditka will no longer be associated with Levitra. This reporting is simply wrong.

Over the last year, Coach Ditka has been an eloquent and effective spokesman for Levitra and men's health. We're proud to be associated with such an outstanding leader and to have successfully raised greater awareness of the need for men to pay better attention to their health. Whether through his efforts as a spokesman for the NFL's Tackling Men's Health campaign or his frank talk about erectile dysfunction (ED), Coach Ditka has been a credible and compelling voice–and one we don't intend to lose. We plan to continue to work closely with the coach to help improve the lives of millions of American men with ED.

BW reporter Christine Bittar replies: While Ditka's comments should have been attributed to outside sources, the point remains that he will not appear in Levitra's new ads.
