On the Web With: Kyle Davidson Vice President of Sales HighMark Printing Corporation Tallahassee,...

One of Davidson's top priorities is to make sure his nine salespeople are always on top of current business and industry news. For this reason, he is on the Internet at least four hours a day. "From about eight to ten in the morning and a couple hours at night, I'm scouring the Web for stories that could

help focus my salespeople," says Davidson, who estimates that he sends and receives about 100 e-mails per day.

Davidson also uses e-mail and the Internet to communicate with customers. "It's important with bigger accounts to always find reasons to keep in touch," he says. "So whenever I see a story that a client might find interesting, I pass it on through an e-mail. Hopefully they'll get something out of it, but more importantly, they see who sent it to them." Here, Davidson shares some of the sites that he visits most often:

"This is the first place I go in the morning because it's a great site for any news I'm looking for. I tend to get my more general world and political type news from here, but the site often has great feature stories that I'll pass on to my salespeople or even clients."

"Any time I'm looking for something, I go through Yahoo. I just find the site to be extremely thorough, and when I'm looking for news and information specific to the printing industry, this site gives a lot to choose from."

"This is absolutely my home for business news. It's the place I go most often during the day because they are constantly updating the site and adding features on what seems like an hourly basis. The site allows me to search for news exclusive to my industry, which is very valuable for passing on stories to others."
