He's Not Howard Stern

By day, Michael Bianchi is director of business development at DiNoto Lee in New York. But put a microphone in front of him and he's "Victor," a childlike character who's crazy about the Skechers he bought at Footquarters.
Publication: Adweek
Date: Monday, August 24 1998

Victor, star of a radio spot that broke in Philadelphia, Phoenix, Seattle and Boise, Idaho, last week, likes his Skechers so much that he talks to them:
"I wonder where you're going to take me today. Lefty? Righty? Where are we

going to go?"
The spot cuts to a female voiceover, then back to Victor, who ends up kissing his shoes. The tagline: "Cool brands. Unusual deals."
Bianchi, 32, a former account director and media planner, had never done a voiceover or even acted in a play. The closest he had come to the creative process was a newspaper ad (also for Footquarters) that featured his foot.
Still, partner Greg DiNoto said Bianchi--who sounds a little like Howard Stern--was a natural in the studio. "Show me another new-business guy with that kind of versatility," Bianchi quipped. Andrew McMains
