NEW YORK WarrenKremer-
Paino has become the agency for Topnotch at Stowe Resort and Spa, a luxury Vermont resort that plans to promote its expanded amenities in an advertising campaign.

Topnotch executives said they chose the New York independent

shop based on its travel-related experience, including ad duties for the New York Palace hotel, Maine Office of Tourism, Pink Beach Hotel in Bermuda and Villa Roma in upstate New York.

The resort, which plans to spend $30 million on renovations during the next three to five years, had previously handled advertising efforts in-house. Currently, the resort sits on 120 acres and features a 35,000-square-foot spa, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, horseback riding and cross-country skiing.

"Topnotch has a very special and loyal group of guests and we will be looking to expand that clientele, said Peter Warren, agency chairman, in a statement. "We will focus on strengthening their relationship with these travelers at every point of consumer contact."

Initial advertising will appear following market and brand equity research, according to an agency representative. Billings are undisclosed.
