Coleman Returns to Chrysler As Brand Czar

DETROIT -- Bonita Coleman is returning to the Chrysler Group as director of Chrysler brand communications, a new position created by the recent marketing reorganization at the automaker.

Coleman will direct all marketing communications for Chrysler products. She joins

Jay Kuhnie (Jeep) and Julie Roehm (Dodge) as the senior executives in charge of all advertising and marketing programs for the Chrysler Group. Coleman will report to Tom Marinelli, vice president-Chrysler marketing & vehicle brand team.

Coleman worked for Chrysler from 1993 to 2000 in various marketing positions. She left the company to co-found Nia Enterprises, which provides database services and marketing information about African-American women and families.
