CHICAGO -- KFC deemed its September Popcorn Chicken promo such a success that it tweaked its schedule to bring the product and its ad support back for another five-week flight, beginning Nov. 23. The last promo ran Sept. 4 to Oct. 8 atop KFCis ongoing campaign work, with at least $5 million in dedicated

media support.

Popcorn Chicken has been a guest star on the KFC menu since it was first offered in the early 1990s. The product initially was revived in Sept. 1998, in the campaign that also reanimated the late Colonel Sanders in cartoon form along with the 1982 tagline, ?We do chicken right.?

The promo retains its September price of $1.99 for an individual serving, $6.99 for the Party Size.
