The auto industry slowdown is hurting Europe's largest supplier.
Robert Bosch GmbH's worldwide automotive equipment sales will be flat in 2002, after just 3 percent growth in 2001, said Wolfgang Chur, head of Bosch's automotive division.
Chur said growth in engine control, chassis and navigation systems will be offset by declining volumes in other areas. Price pressure from automakers continues, he added.
Sales also are falling for commodity products such as generators and starters, he said.
