GE Plastics invests to develop more resins for flame-retardant, high-temperature fibres.

GE Plastics is developing materials for manufacturers of fabrics and textiles that must comply with ever stricter flame, smoke and toxicity regulations.

The company--with headquarters in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA--has invested in a high-temperature melt spinning fibre line from Hills Inc.
