Bochang Towel Obtains Micro Wic License

Taipei, Taiwan — Bochang Towel Mfg. Co. has purchased the Micro Wic patent from Chesapeake Textiles Company. Previously, Bochang had manufactured Micro Wic products for the U.S. company.

Micro Wic is a construction of cotton and microfiber that allows the towel to absorb more than

eight times its dry weight in liquids. Micro Wic towels dry faster, according to the company. They also are lint-free, scratch-free, stain-resistant, antimicrobial, and attract and hold oils.

Bochang is a 31-year-old, family-owned company operating factories in Taiwan, Vietnam and China. Its products include bath, beach and kitchen towels in solid color, jac and embroidered constructions.

The company recently retained Cathy Dwyer to handle U.S. accounts.
