Technogenia has developed a tungsten-carbide powder, Spherotene, for hardfacing sand mixer blades. The powder is an anti-abrasion solution for frequently-used wear parts in sand regeneration and casting mold production. Tungsten-carbide hardfacing forms a metallurgical bond with the base metal on the part to protect against wear and impact.
