It seems too obvious to mention that concrete contractors are often the producers' customers. For this reason alone, it is definitely in the interest of producers to belong to and participate in ASCC, just as suppliers of cement admixtures, and truck mixers participate in the National Ready Mix Concrete Association.
It also seems inappropriate to label ASCC as "not hot" because producers don't belong to the organization. It is, after all, an association for concrete contractors. ASCC is currently very hot, coming off an extremely successful annual conference in September, creating an acute level of interest and excitement within the design and construction industries with our Position Statements, and enjoying growing membership and the highest level of active member participation in its history.
