The European Machine Tool Show at Hannover, Germany on Sept 10 to 17, 1997 featured products from machine tool manufacturers from Europe, Japan and the US. The exposition was dominated by machine tools for metal-cutting and metal-forming followed by precision and chucking tools. In addition, machine components, software and control systems and electronic products were also on display. The advance designs of multi-task machines reflect the trend toward high speed machining and high machining productivity technology.
