New name in plastic tooling.(Vantico Ltd., formerly Ciba Specialty Chemicals Performance...

The Performance Polymers Div. of Ciba Specialty Chemicals was well known for its original development of 3D prototyping techniques and solid modeling, 30 years ago. In June 2000, the division remodeled itself as Vantico, following its buy out by Morgan Grenfell Private Equity. Vantico's Adhesives & Tooling Div., the company's main interest for the OEM sector, is located near Cambridge, England, where it researches and develops innovative materials, tooling techniques, and prototyping solutions.
