Chevron - designing lubrication products to protect operating equipment.

High loads, high speeds and long running hours are considered normal in all aspects of mine operation. Downtime is costly and always has a detrimental effect on production performance. Recognising this, Chevron is working closely with a number of Original Equipment Manufacturers to formulate products that perform consistently well in stressful conditions. These products protect gears and engine valves, prolong equipment life and extend maintenance intervals. In saving downtime, they reduce operating costs. Two examples of recent product development successes follow.
