Dec. 7--Henry Ford wouldn't quite get it. But Michael Hammer has no interest in assembly lines.

Making a product faster and cutting costs aren't what drive him.

Instead Hammer focuses on quality, at any cost.

"If we have the best product -- meaning, it lasts longer and is more comfortable -- then we're achieving the degree of success I believe is very important," said the 63-year-old Holmdel resident.
