UNITED STATES: A new additive designed by Clean Diesel Technologies (CDT) has been shown to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions--the one emission which biodiesel had so far been shown not to reduce, reports the National Biodiesel Board. CDT's patented additive was blended with B20 biodiesel

and was shown to reduce NOx emissions by 5% compared to normal on-highway diesel fuel.
