Dean Goes Lean

Dean Foods will implement LeanLogistics' transportation management system for all its inbound, inter-plant, and outbound transportation. Dean expects that the web-native system will streamline procurement, planning, execution, and settlement.

"The ability to streamline all our transportation

activities into one, high-visibility solution will have a positive impact across our supply chain and yield an important return on investment for our shareholders," says Byron Johnson, vice president of supply chain at Dean. "Additionally, it allows Dean Foods to focus our IT resources on customer solutions."
