Continuous Sand Mixer.

Palmer's CAM-Series Continuous Mixer is a single size sand and resin mixing unit meant for smaller shops, start-up operations or applications where continuous mixer use is infrequent. It features precise, DC-driven resin pumps and can handle up to 150 lb/mm. Dual mixing chamber doors feature

six hand knobs, each allowing complete access to the mixing blades and driveshaft from both sides of the chamber while maintaining a tight door seal. The standard mixing blades are faced with 0.25 in.-thick tungsten carbide and are fixed-position, pin-style blades. The blades overlap and are sized to allow a buildup of resinous material that creates the lining of the inside of the mixing chamber. This lining allows the interior diameter of the chamber to be maintained by each blade as the mixing shaft rotates. The daily cleaning consists of removing the build-up on the mixing blades and driveshaft. This lining also prevents the sand flowing through from constantly abrading the mixing chamber, thus improving chamber life.
