America's largest commercial heat treater, Lindberg Corp. (Rosemont, Ill.) has acquired Metal-Lab of Wisconsin, Inc. (Sturtevant, Wis.), a 35-employee shop that serves tool-and-die customers in the Wisconsin-Illinois area. Also, the two Chicago banks that handle Lindberg's revolving credit line have extended it to $70-million (from $45-million), so additional acquisitions may be coming.
Died: Chang K. Moon, director of overseas affairs at Hwacheon Machine Tool Co., in Seoul, South Korea.
