Titanium Shaft "Test Drive Challenge" in Chicago Area
June 15 - July 27
Titanium Sports Technologies (TST), the world's only manufacturer of titanium golf shafts, has created a new line that enables golfers of all
To introduce the redesigned shafts, the company is launching the Titanium Shaft "Test Drive Challenge" program at Chicago area golf courses and driving ranges between June 15 and July 27. Golfers can visit one of several locations to compare their favorite wood to the same club shafted with titanium.
"The Titanium Shaft is now ready for everyone," said TST president and chief executive officer Greg Hoffman. "We have invested heavily in research, redesign and redevelopment of these unique shafts in recent years. Now all golfers can experience the same feel and consistency as the PGA Tour, Senior PGA Tour and Nike Tour pros who play with Titanium Shafts."
Hoffman said technological advancements in processing have enabled the company for the first time to create Titanium Shafts with a flex for every type of player -- including high-handicappers, women and seniors -- and to accommodate golfers of all skill levels, swing speeds and ball trajectories.
Titanium Shafts combine the strength, durability and accuracy of steel with the distance and lightweight benefits of graphite. They provide greater torsion resistance, absorb more shock and produce a tighter shot dispersion pattern than steel or graphite.
Golfers who come in for the free Titanium Shaft "Test Drive Challenge" program may hit titanium-shafted drivers from such popular manufacturers as Callaway, Taylor Made, Cobra, Titleist, Spalding, Orlimar and Adams. Ping irons with Titanium Shafts will also be available for comparison at each location.
Participants will receive a rebate coupon valid for $20 off when they purchase a Titanium Shaft, and may enter a contest to win Titanium Shafts installed on either their full set of clubs, their irons or their woods, compliments of TST.
