Olwen Huxley, a professional staff aide on the House Science Committee's

subcommittee on environment, technology and standards, has left her post and moved to Hawaii. Huxley was in charge of authorization bills related to the Manufacturing Extension Partnership and fought for the program's survival as the Bush Administration tried to eliminate it. "She's gone to Hawaii with her husband to start another kind of life," said one of her co-workers.
