Charles Stanley "Stan" Rouk, Ph.D., Fellow
Edmond. Oklahoma-Charles Stanley "Stan" Rouk. Ph.D., Fellow. 6.3, died at his home April 1, 2006, of cancer.
Morn December 9, 1942. in Ada. he was the son of Hazel and Hugh Rouk. He graduated from Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Stillwater,
earning both a bachelor of science degree and a master of science degree in Zoology in 1966 and 1968, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in Zoology, with a minor in Biology, from Texas Tech University in Lubboek, Texas, in 1972. As a 20-year member of the Sooner Chapter, Stan was active in the National Contract Management Association. From 2001 to 2003, he was national vice president for the South Central Region. He was named an NCMA Fellow, as well as honored with the Berger Award.
"After long board meetings. Stan enjoyed playing a round of golf with frequent partners Gary Zura, Bob Berthold, and Ron Smith. Trips were never complete without a group of us going out to dinner at a nice restaurant, said his wife. Nila.
