Management changes at Fiserv

Fiserv (262-879-5259 / www.fiserv.com) has created new operating groups from its former Financial Institution Group and promoted division presidents to lead those operations. Fiserv announced that Norm Balthasar was named to the new position of Senior Executive VP and COO. Balthasar was formerly president and COO of the Fiserv Financial Institution Group.

Changes include:

* Rodney Poskochil, President of the Bank Systems and eProducts Group;

* Pat Foy, President of the Bank Servicing Group;

* James Puzniak, President of the Lending Systems and Services Group:

* Ken Acheson, President of the Item Processing Group; and

* Doug Craft, Senior VP and Group CFO.

"These moves help to set the stage for the future, said Leslie Muma, Fiserv CEO, indicating that the changes would enable Fiserv to continue its strong growth.
