No More Mr. Mayor. (L.A. Stories).

County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky has just assumed the rotating post of chairman of the Board of Supervisors. But, unlike his predecessor Mike Antonovich, Yaroslavsky has no plans to call himself "county mayor."

Officially, Yaroslavsky will be called "board chairman," although he joked

during last week's board meeting that he wouldn't mind being called "Your Excellency."
