Microsoft goes mini.
Microsoft made waves in March with the introduction of its Ultra-Mobile PC, which runs Windows XP (a full version), includes a touchscreen and has wireless connectivity. As the website says, it's built to go everywhere and do everything. The only thing it tacks is a keyboard.

Its touchscreen is about 18 cm wide and responds to a stylus or the tap of a finger. Two models were to be launched this spring, and they should weigh in at about two pounds. The PCs are WiFi and Bluetooth-enabled as well, and have a screen resolution of 800 x 480.
