Halpern Enterprises opens new retail brokerage shop.

Corrigan noted that, in addition to leasing retail space, Halpern Retail Brokerage will be involved in design and development of new properties and will act in an exclusive capacity as leasing/management agents for owners of shopping centers, as well as undertaking search assignments for retail customers.

Corrigan was formerly director of the Retail Department at Friedland Realty, Inc., Yonkers, New York, where he created a new leasing and sales division for retail properties. Prior to joining Friedland, Corrigan was director of Acquisitions/Leasing for H. B. Nitkin Group, New York City. He had also held positions of increased responsibility during his career with Don McGrath Associates, Newmark & Company, and Crawford & Company.

Corrigan, a licensed real estate broker, has earned the designation of Certified Zoning and Planning Consultant from the New York State Board of Realtors. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
