Web Transaction Fears Rise, But So Does Use
RSA's first-ever international Internet Confidence Index shows consumers and businesses in the U.S. and Europe are worried about network vulnerability and identity theft, but it's not quelling their use of Internet transactions. The survey shows 99 percent of businesses are doing more on-line transactions than a year ago. Good news? Not really. "The message here is that security is failing to keep pace with what end-users wish to do on-line," says RSA chief Art Coviello.
