Texas Continues to Pursue Lawsuit against Life Insurance Broker.

Jan. 21--Despite efforts to reach a settlement, the state of Texas continues to pursue legal action against Waco's Life Partners Inc., which brokers the sale of life insurance policies owned by terminally ill people.

The state attorney general's office has sued Life Partners, accusing the company of "false, deceptive and misleading acts" in dealing with investors who buy the life insurance policies of people who typically have less than two years to live.
