Aecom Technology Corp. acquired Arlington, Va.-based development services firm Services Group for an undisclosed sum. The Los Angeles-based consulting firm said that the addition of the company will prompt creation of a division that will focus on acquiring international contracts and will be called

Aecom International Development. The new division will have its headquarters in Washington and will specialize in providing support services in emerging markets around the globe, Aecom said. Santa Monica-based MySpace said it will include several online protections as well as development of age-verification and other technologies to prevent sexual offenders and predators from using the site.
