Prosecutors Rest Their Case in Retrial of Former California Financier.

Apr. 24--NEW YORK -- Closing out the second week of the retrial of former star financier Frank Quattrone, prosecutors rested their case Friday after reading two hours of Quattrone's testimony from his first trial.

The defense called two witnesses and still have not said whether Quattrone will testify when the case resumes Monday. Quattrone, who was the head of technology investment banking for Credit Suisse First Boston of New York, worked in Palo Alto.
