Dec. 9--A Saco accountant accused of defrauding clients of more than $1 million must adhere to an 8 p.m. curfew and other conditions while free on bail.
The terms were imposed during an appearance in U.S. District Court in Portland on Monday.
John C. Baert, who owned and operated Harmon-Baert Associates until the business closed Nov. 19, waived his right to a probable cause hearing. He will be indicted later this month, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Toby Dilworth
