Illegal Aliens: A Question of Coverage.

Illegal immigration continues to be a hot topic of debate in this country. Do undocumented immigrants boost or hinder the economy? President Bush recently proposed a plan to legalize thousands of undocumented immigrants through a guest-worker program.

Opponents of the plan claim that immigrants who Live in the U.S. illegally strain our social services, and that the program would reward people for breaking the law. Meanwhile, courts in Florida and Nevada recently were asked to decide if one's illegal alien status precludes one from receiving insurance benefits.
