Georgia Supreme Court Declines to Hear Case of Marsh Development.

May 10--Emerald Pointe put the focus on the development of Georgia's marsh hammocks three years ago. Now decisions about the upscale housing development off Islands Expressway may influence how all of Georgia's 1,700 islands in the marsh are treated.

Last week, the Georgia Supreme Court declined to hear a case about Emerald Pointe.

For environmental lawyers in the case, the court's refusal was good news.
