EXECUTIVE SPOTLIGHT: David S. Casey Jr.

David S. Casey Jr. has been elected president of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, an association of 60,000 attorney members. Casey is a senior partner at Casey, Gerry, Reed & Schenk, a firm specializing in product liability, serious personal injury, wrongful death, toxic tort, environmental, asbestos, and fraud litigation. He is also founder and senior partner of Herman, Mathis, Casey, Kitchens & Gerel. He just completed a oneyear term as president-elect of ATLA and is a member of ATLA's board of governors and Public Education Committee. Casey has also served as president of the Western Trial Lawyers Association, president of the Consumer Attorneys of California, and president of the San Diego Trial Lawyers Association. In May, Casey was honored with the Author E. Hughes Career Achievement Award from the University of San Diego.
