Remember: File Your Tax Return to Get Your Tax Rebate

As if you weren't already painfully aware that today is Tax Day, I'm here to remind you. Again.

But this is a friendly reminder that you need to file a tax return in order to get your tax rebate. Even if you don't actually need to file a tax return, if you want your "economic stimulus" tax rebate, you have to.

Honestly, my life would actually be easier if they just gave me a tax credit. It would make paying my taxes this year much easier. $1,500 easier.

But then I wouldn't be able to go out and spend it -- doing my duty to help stimulate the economy.
