Tupelo, Miss., City Council Hears Sheraton Hotel Requests.

Dec. 1--TUPELO, Miss.--Developers proposing a 185-room Sheraton hotel met with the Tupelo City Council and asked for two tax incentives Wednesday.

And a new player emerged in the Sheraton proposal.

Former biology professor S.L. Sethi of Canton -- who has built 16 hotels and operates more than 40 restaurants -- will be the majority owner in the Sheraton project, estimated to cost $9 million to $10 million.
