Stock Exchange of Thailand Hit by Uncertainties about New Rules.

Feb. 19--Thai shares dropped 0.87 percent on sluggish turnover yesterday as investors mulled the impact new restrictions on same-day net settlement trades would have on market sentiment.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand index yesterday closed at 742.33 points, down 6.5 points, on trade worth 19.91 billion baht. Turnover was the lowest since late November.
