This restful scene comes to you courtesy of Mother Nature and the efforts of the homeowner, builder and architect to preserve the beauty of a desert site. Rock outcroppings form a scenic natural walkway to the pool deck, while the pool itself sparkles with the hues of the organic architecture above

it. Dramatic site topography dictated the location of the main residence, guest house and caretaker's cottage, along with conservation easements designed to preserve large tracts of the Sonoran Desert. Among the flora spared were several mature saguaro cacti. The finished pool complex and waterfalls provide a focal point for the cluster of buildings. The Scottsdale, Ariz., home is 14,251 square feet and valued at $7.5 million.
