A longer timetable for making a decision for a proposed 135-store outlet mall in Merrimack could delay final approval for the project until the spring.
Planning Board Chairman Nelson Disco told the New Hampshire Union Leader the town will ask for more time before voting on the request
Chelsea officially filed its permit application on Sept. 4. The planning board had 90 days before it was required to vote on the permit, making the decision due on Dec. 3.
But Steve Laurin of the town planning and zoning staff told the newspaper the town will ask for an extension, although neither he nor Disco would say how much time the town would ask for.
