The following Notice is issued by the law firm of Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld &Toll, P.L.L.C., on behalf of its client, who filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on behalf of all persons who purchased the common stock of Bank One Corp. (NYSE:ONE) between Oct. 22, 1998 and Nov. 10, 1999, inclusive (the &uot;Class Period&uot;).

The Complaint charges that the defendants violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by improperly overstating revenue and income from late fees, penalties and interest in Bank One's credit card subsidiary, as a result of the intentional failure to post credit card payments on time. After a series of partial disclosures beginning on Aug. 24, 1999, and ending on Nov. 10, 1999, the facts concerning defendants' conduct became widely known, including in a report that First USA was the target of an investigation by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Following the disclosures, the stock price of Bank One plummeted from its Class Period high of $63.563 per share to close at $34.625 per share on Nov. 10, 1999.
