LOS ANGELES -- Anita Seelig, Co-CEO of Ring Plus, announced that her second ring back patent will be issued today, June 5, 2007, for her company Ring Plus. The announcement was made at a press conference held in Los Angeles on June 4th at the regent Beverly Wilshire hotel and was attended by TMZ,
Currently Ring Plus is suing AT&T in Marshall, Texas, in a patent infringement suit regarding the Cingular Answertones service on telephones. (Patent No. 7,006,608; Court Case Number: 2-06cv-159-DF). Today, Anita Seelig's second patent for ring back technology was issued.
Anita's software technology replaces the endlessly annoying ordinary ring back tone with music. This allows those who telecommunicate by landlines and mobile phones to select music from their favorite artists to play for incoming callers, and permits those making outgoing calls a more enjoyable experience.
The following questions have been asked by the media and answered accordingly by Anita Seelig.
