U.S. Northern District to launch e-filing system.

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida has announced its conversion to "Case Management/Electronic Case Files."

According to the court, this Internet-based system provides numerous benefits to attorneys and their staff, including:

* Electronic filing 24-hours a day, seven days a week, excluding maintenance periods.

* Electronic notification of case document filings via e-mail.

* Complete case and document management online through PACER.

* Concurrent access to case files by multiple parties.
