While some thought that SunnComm had been buried by the famous incident where its CD copy protection was bypassed by a student just holding down the shift key on a PC, it has refused to be phased by the experience.
Back in October Princeton doctoral student John "Alex" Halderman was initially going to be sued by SunnComm for holding down that shift key and telling everyone about it, and then it relented. But now it has another design win, with EMI agreeing to start trials using its technology.
