SPI president Bill Carteaux has commended the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) for its formal request for information on China's efforts to enforce intellectual-property rights. He notes that "The U.S. plastics industry has first-hand experience with the widespread illegal counterfeiting and pirating of U.S. goods in China."
